Sanitary sewer line work in Cherry Street, in tandem with Edgewood Subdivision, was bid in October 2017, but bids came in over available funds. The project was rebid to only include camera inspection of Edgewood’s and Cherry Street’s sanitary sewer lines in January 2018 with Gulf Coast Underground, LLC being awarded the bid. Project was paid out of the 2017 Bond. The rehab of the sanitary sewer laterals and main lines, along with manhole rehabilitation in the Cherry Street area, was redesigned and rebid for higher priority items and work began in fall 2019 with Blankenship Contracting being awarded the bid, in tandem with Edgewood sewer rehab, at $1,989,614. Work was completed in May 2020.
