WATER TANK REHAB

Eufaula Water Works is funding rehabilitation to our tanks, which is being paid out of operational revenue. The project kicked off in 2014 and is estimated to be completed by 2024. Each of our eleven water tanks will be repainted inside and outside. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to know when we’ll be working on the tank(s) in your area. Project cost is $2.0 million.

In 2015, we completed interior and exterior rehabilitation of Tank #1, washout/inspection of Tanks #2, #3, #4, and #7.

In 2016, we have completed washout/inspection of Tanks #6, #9, #10. We completed the interior and exterior rehabilitation of Tank #7 on Fox Ridge Rd in June 2016. Rehab on Tank #5, across from Tiger Drive, was completed in September 2016.

In February 2018, we rehabilitated Tank 6 on Fox Ridge Rd and Tank 9 on East Boundry Street. Washout and inspection of Tanks 1,2,3, and 4 also took place in 2018.

In 2019, we washed out Tanks #7 and #10. Tank #7 is already complete. Tank #10 was also completed in 2019.

In 2020, all tanks were inspected. Tanks 2 and 3 were rehabbed. Tanks 5 and 11 were cleaned this year.
